WHY
PEOPLE DON'T HEAL
We've all heard about someone breaking down due to stress.
Most of us live stressful lives
- juggling work, family, and finances - we know we need to slow down but don't. If we took more time to relax and took better
care of ourselves, we'd be happier and live healthier lives.
Stress is inevitable and some is actually beneficial.
Nonetheless, it's a medical fact stress affects health and well being. Doctors, psychologists, and healthcare professionals
agree stress is often an underlying cause of physical and emotional problems.
So why do people continue to jeopardize
their health with stress?
Because the truth is this: Stress doesn't kill. But failure to mitigate stress does. If stress
really killed, we wouldn't be here today.
